Youth Shooting Sports
CSC’s Youth Shooting Sports Programs are firearms safety education and marksmanship programs that encompass the basic elements of safety, education, enjoyment and competition.
Who Can Participate?
Youth, ages 10-17, male and female, can participate. Physical ability and size are no match for mental toughness and discipline in this co-ed skill sport. CSC’s Youth Programs are typically limited to 2-24 participants per cycle.
Why shooting sports?
Participants will gain knowledge of firearm construction and safety techniques. They will develop responsibility, confidence and self-reliance, as well as a skill they can enjoy and hone throughout their life.
How Much Does it cost?
There is no cost to participate in CSC Youth Shooting Sports Programs. Parent/guardian membership is not required, but encouraged, to promote the sport.
Spring 2026 Youth Rifle Program
Hello, Parents!
January is almost here, which means CSC’s Winter 2026 Youth Rifle League is right around the corner – and it’s time to sign your child up!
Our mandatory safety presentation and first day on the range will be held on Sunday, January 18th, with the entire group in attendance. Participation is in the league requires attendance on this day.
We have 30 total spots available, and they will fill quickly. If you’re interested, please register as soon as possible using the link below.
As always, this is a free league. The club will provide firearms, ammunition, targets, and all necessary equipment. If your child wishes to use their own rifle, it must be inspected and approved by a club safety officer. Personal firearms must be .22 LR with iron sights only. Scopes and red dots are not permitted for the rimfire program.
Registration Information
Eligibility & Requirements:
- Open to children ages 10-17
- A parent or legal guardian must remain on club grounds at all times
- A signed waiver is required for all participants, even if one was completed for a previous youth program
- Please register using parent’s name and email, along with the child’s name
As we are limited to 20 total shooters, please indicate your interest by registering your child ASAP!

Orientation, mandatory safety presentation, and shooting. Attendance required to participate. - January 25 | 9:00AM – 1:00PM
- February 1 | 9:00AM – 1:00PM
- February 15 | 9:00AM – 1:00PM
- February 22 | 9:00AM – 1:00PM
- March 1 | 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Final competition with prizes for top shooters and a pizza party for all kids and parents.
